Why Grant Morrison's JLA Run Was The Best Team Book

 I think I'll always have a soft spot for "Electro-Supes" because of how that costume was used for most of this. Oh for the days when Kyle was the sole Green Lantern , Wally was the de facto Flash , Aquaman had a beard, a harpoon hand and a 'tude, and Superman had more in common with Tron … Grant Morrison might be better known now for BATMAN and FINAL CRISIS , but my first introduction to the warp savant was in ‘97’s JLA . This was his first high-profile assignment on a big title, and it arrived with a thunderclap .

To celebrate their 75th anniversary, DC comics released a giant book full of info, pictures, art and interviews. This books is so big it should get it's own zip-code. I just got mine and am comparing it to some other formats.

AMC's The Walking Dead: Comics Comparison and Analysis

In a lot of ways, AMC’s The Walking Dead is a walking, or stumbling, contradiction. The show is an adaptation of Robert Kirkman ’s still-running monthly comic book series which typically means a streamlining and “cutting the fat” approach to delivering the main plot beats while also managing to cater to mass audiences. Guillermo del Toro to Produce Hulk TV Show

 Lou's even bigger than this, now. The Hulk ’s finally returning to TV and the man who’s guided his share off super-monsters to screen is going to be handling the journey. Deadline ’s reported that HELLBOY and BLADE II director Guillermo del Toro is putting together a new show about the jade giant’s “salad days” that’ll be coming to ABC - - it’s the first show produced through Marvel ’s new TV division.
