Hear U2 Perform their Spider-Man Theme Song
After many delays and much uncertainty, TURN OFF THE DARK , the Spidey musical, will start previewing next month before it finally debuts around Christmas time. As most of you are probably aware, the songs have been arranged by U2’s Bono and the Edge (whose names sound like superhero aliases in their own right.) I don’t know if they’re planning to release the show’s theme song “Boy Falls from the Sky” as a single on the radio, but U2 has been including it in their concert set lately, as the video below (obtained by the LA Times ) will evidence. I’m not a U2 devotee (that’s more my older sisters’ style) but, as far as my ears are concerned, this song definitely goes down easy

Ghost Rider 2 Gets its Devil
Thumbs up for evil! GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE , the sequel to that Nicholas Cage movie about everybody’s favorite bonehead biker, has got a plot now; but it’s still looking for its girl and its Mephisto. Or, at least, I presume it’s Mephisto - - the synopsis THR has just refers to him as “the devil." Anyway, the producers in negotiations right now with Irish actor Ciaran Hinds about playing the prince of lies. He’s had a diverse filmography, but the role most relevant to genre fans is his turn as Dumbeldore’s young brother, Aberforth, in the next HARRY POTTER movies.
