Do You Fear… Parodies?
By now you have probably seen the announcement from Marvel that their next big event is going to be called Fear Itself . All these teasers that we have seen in the last week or so, were all pointing to the next huge event, which is going to be handled by Matt Fraction and Stuart Immonen . The teasers feature a prophetic and ominous looking imagery, along with a phrase saying " Do you fear..

The Secret Lives of Action Figures
When I was a little kid, I always thought that as soon as I stepped out of my bedroom and closed the door behind me, my toys would jump up and take the opportunity to come to life. I bet many of you probably thought the same thing even before Pixar made Toy Story . It's not out of the ordinary for kids to think it possible that their toys have secret lives; in fact, it's a rather common idea that has been around for a very long time.

Want To Hang Out With Your Favorite Comic Creators?
Comic conventions are awesome because you get the opportunity to meet some of your favorite creators. The downside? Usually you (the fan) will have to stand in line for 20 minutes to an hour to wait for your favorite comics writer/artist to give you their autograph.

Could Human Torch be in the Cap Movie?
They've got some choices. Sharper-eyed users might have noticed that Viper and Arnim Zola were included in the concept designs for the new CAPTAIN AMERICA game that debuted last week. That fact, coupled with some cryptic mentions about Cap having some “familiar allies” in the game, left me wondering if the Human Torch , Union Jack or the Sub-Mariner might show up, as well.

The Screening Room: Iron Man!
If you love Iron Man and happen to be free at around 4PM pacific today, then you might want to head on over to Comicvine's sister site Screened for a live screening of Marvel's Iron Man movie. Matt and Alex will be watching the film and providing what I expect to be some really hysterical commentary on some of the film's most precious moments.
